Hey golfers-
Just a quick update as I watch the Super Bowl (commercials!) to let you know about my weekend. Saturday I played golf at the Dye Course at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie. The weather was perfect--78 degrees and sunny. After lunch at the PGA Golf Club, I headed home and spent a few hours at the pool with the iPod and a good book. I went to dinner with a friend from work after seeing her neighborhood, etc. in Wellington. We ate at my new favorite restaurant, Smokey Bones--an outstanding BBQ place with all the fixins!
Sunday I played golf with two colleagues from work at the Estates Course of PGA National. We had a great time and laughed our way around the course. There is a senior qualifying event at the Estates course tomorrow--so the course was busier than usual. The seniors are trying to qualify for the Allianz tournament in Boca Raton next weekend.
Next weekend I'm off to Ft. Meyers to golf with JoAnne Henry and see more Northfield people. Should be a fun time.
