Back to Minnesota...

Well it was another fast weekend in Minnesota. I arrived on Friday afternoon at 2:45 and within the hour, was in the dental chair in Northfield for a check-up. Saturday I met Sue Norsted for lunch and had time to catch up with her. I spent the afternoon running a few errands and started on "the dig"--getting the house cleaned up and things thrown away to prepare to put our house on the market. Saturday night we had a nice dinner together as a family--before the kids headed out with friends for the night.

Sunday afternoon Brooke and I met Lorie for lunch at Leann Chin and ran a few more errands. The evening concluded with a five hour (are you kidding?) town board budget meeting...what else is there to do on a snowy, Sunday night?

Since the temperature started dropping, I knew it was time to head south! I had a scheduled 5 p.m. flight out of MSP for Detroit, that didn't leave until 6 p.m. This made my connection in Detroit only 20 minutes, but when I arrived at the gate in Detroit, no one had boarded yet. Turned out our flight crew was delayed arriving from New York due to weather. Once we were on board, we waited for "unscheduled maintenance" until 11:45, which got us into West Palm at 2:15 a.m. Well, one nice thing about a 3 a.m. drive to my condo--no traffic on I-95!
