A Day at the Beach

It was a great weekend in the Palm Beaches. Saturday I packed a good book, my iPod, sunscreen and a cooler and headed to Juno Beach for a few hours. It was a perfect sunny day with temps in the 80s with a nice breeze. Saturday night I had dinner with two colleagues--we watched some golf, ate dinner, then watched a movie.

Sunday I played golf at PGA National--the Haig course again. We fought a few rain sprinkles but had a good time on the course. After our round, I played nine holes across the street from PGA National, at Mirasol with Karen Wukich, another colleague from work. I had the thrill of meeting LPGA Tour player Patricia Meunier-Lebouc who I watched win the 2003 Kraft Nabisco Championship in Rancho Mirage, California, when I was in Palm Springs with the golf team in 2003. Patricia said she'd like to play golf together sometime in April when she returns to Florida from the LPGA Tour west coast swing. (Of course it helps that Patricia is Karen's neighbor!!)

Busy at work getting ready for our first ever Women's Golf School on March 30th...thanks again for reading!
