It's been a fun week having David and the girls here. On Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning they played the Haig course, followed by Wednesday afternoon at Juno Beach. They had a great time playing in the waves and getting tossed around in the ocean. Friday they took the day off from golf to have some sun time.
This morning we played the Champ course and had a family first...we all scored in the 80s--the weather was perfect for golf. David won the birdie contest--having one on the front side and one on the back side to help him shoot 39 on the back. Everyone played well and had a good time.
We finished golfing by noon, grabbed some lunch and headed to Juno Beach for the afternoon. David and the girls were in the water for an hour and a half, playing in the waves. The girls, of course, enjoyed the beach scenery, gawking at the boys there!
I'm headed to Port St. Lucie in the morning for our Women's Play Golf America Day from 1-4 p.m. where we have 20 PGA Professionals scheduled to provide 10-minute free lessons. We had hoped to get 200 people in attendance and have nearly 300 women pre-registered. It will be a great event!
