Breakfast with the President

Saturday we had another PGA HQ staff outing at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie. Before golf, Kathy Wilkes and I had breakfast with PGA of America President, Brian Whitcomb and his wife at the PGA Golf Club. Brian was in town for the Minority Championships held at the PGA Golf Club. We shared funny golf stories while eating, before Brian joined us on the practice range before we played. Our event was a modified Stableford and my partner and I finished runner-up (sounds much better than saying we finished second!)

After golf we returned to West Palm and some of us had dinner and hung out at Panama Hatties...a tiki bar on the water complete with a sand beach. It was a perfect night to just sit outside and re-live the shots on the golf course from that day.

Today Linda and Kathy and I went to the Sugarcane Bistro for Mother's Day buffet. Tons of good food and more fun stories and laughs. The rest of the day I just ran errands and watched golf on TV...fun to see Sergio win at The Players.

Busy week this week with PGA Free Lesson Day on Wednesday and a trip to New Jersey on Thursday...more later!
