Today I helped host a VIP event for American Express at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, New Jersey. The day began with breakfast and Dana White, an editor from Golf For Women Magazine speaking. Plans then called for a golf clinic for the attendees from 9 a.m. until noon, however, due to the constant downpour of rain, we quickly switched to "Plan B" and hosted the clinic in the Ballroom of the country club. The clinic was led by PGA/LPGA member Suzy Whaley, along with five other LPGA Professionals. After the clinic, we drove 35 miles to the LPGA Sybase Classic at Upper Montclair Country Club for lunch in the VIP hospitality club. The rain continued and the tournament was suspended for the day due to weather. It was still fun to see the course and some of the players (Annika Sorenstam, Lorena Ochoa, Paula Cramer, etc.)
Hopefully the rain will stop so the tournament can conclude this weekend!
