The remains of Tropical Storm Fay are in Northern Florida and all eyes are on the next storm in the Atlantic--Tropical Storm Gustav. I spent the weekend enjoying the Florida sun...Saturday I played in a golf tournament at Binks Forest in Wellington...I played with three friends from the Executive Women's Golf Association (EWGA) and we managed a ten under score--good enough for third place in the mixed flight. The course was lots of fun and we had a good time.
Sunday Kathy and I met for breakfast at the Juno Beach Cafe, then walked two miles on the beach. We walked a mile south of the pier, then turned around and walked back to the pier. The weather was so hot that we actually walked along the shore in the water and it felt great. I spent the rest of the day watching the closing ceremonies of the Olympics, getting ready for another week of work and tracking Gustav.
