Saturday I played golf on the Champ course – joining a group of three guys from Orlando who were at PGA National for a Father’s Day getaway. We had a 10 a.m. tee time and didn't finish until almost 3:30 p.m. Now I know why we usually play at 7:30 a.m. Pace of play and heat today were awful. After golf I watched the US Open and met Kathy for pizza.
Sunday we went to Juno Beach Café for breakfast, then walked along the beach and watched more of the US Open. We were hoping for a conclusion on Sunday but it’s now scheduled to finish on Monday. I’m sure there will be many TVs on at work on Monday to watch the playoff. Good thing we work at the PGA of America so we're allowed to have golf on TV during working hours! Rooting for Phil to have a good Monday round!
